Welsh Government wants your views to help transform social services

The Welsh Government is seeking your views to help it set the ‘direction of travel’ in the transformation of social services in Wales.

It has launched a consultation on its approach to developing a National Outcomes Framework for social services in Wales.

During the consultation, which runs from November 12-February 4 – the Welsh Government wants the views of practitioners and social care organisations to help it develop the outcomes to be included in Framework.

Promoting well-being for all

The Welsh Government's overall aim is to ensure that social services in Wales promote people’s well-being and enables them to have a stronger voice and real control.

The high-level National Outcomes Framework will help support the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Bill due in 2013.
